23.9.2011 00:20 MR (77.249.95.219) I`ve recently been asked to compose an 8-bit track to a game that is planned to be published on mobile devices, and I plan to use RMT for this - I grew up in the 8-bit times and the XL was my machine. As a sad coincidence, my decision to use RMT coincided with Raster`s passing. Even though I never met him, he was my age and therefore very much my generation. He sounded like an excellent fellow, and I would have liked to express my gratitude to him for making this great tool. My condolences go to his friends and family.

21.4.2011 08:16 raster/c.p.u. Petrik: Please, try to explore some existing RMT songs/instruments in RMT ZIP package. I think RMT is similar to other music trackers. I`m sorry, there is normal HMTL manual with desctription of control and features only, no `Getting Started` steps.

Like, hey, here`s how yo make a C minor play in a 4-beat measure. My son is interested in trying to make some simple Atari/Pokey chip tunes, but can`t seem to figure it out. emkay: I`m sorry. I don`t plan to make any other import from XYZ format. You could use some conversion from XYZ to MOD and then use RMT feature for MOD import.
ParticleMan: You can inspect instruments in other RMT songs...

14.2.2010 20:46 Syfo-Dyas (69.81.94.73) I am an Atari 8-bit user, and am slightly curious about this program, though I have a problem that prevents me from using it.
I am unable to see the whole program since I am on a DELL NB205 Notebook that can only do a resolution of 1024x600.
If there is a way to correct this in the future, I could then potentially become a user.
Please consider, and thank you!
P.S. Any plans on porting this to the Amiga or STE Platforms? 8-bit on 8-bit.

Did you think about player for newbies non-assembler peples? We spoke about it in Glucholazy cp. If it will be necessary - I send You marok procedure for run player under Turbo Basic XL and other languages.

1) Jde o moznost misto vyberu z directory zapsat libovolne device:filename, tj. kdyz chces nacitat napriklad z C: nebo z nejakeho jineho teoretickeho zarizeni.
2) GTIA ma 1 bitovy vystup do audio linky. Pokud na to dokazes zahrat melodii, tak se predved. ;-) (pouziva se to na keyboard click a bzucak)
3) Pouzij MID->MOD konverzi co umi napr. modplug tracker www.modplug.com, pak uvidis co ti z toho zustane, a pokud neco, muzes ten MOD pak importnout do RMTcka a pospravovat.
MIDuly pouzivaji hodne moc kanalu (bezne 64 a vic) a jejich dynamicke pridelovani, neni to vubec legrace nejak slusne konvertovat z MIDu do par kanalu.
4) Vubec jsem nepochopil, asi to bude tim ze DJ tematika jde naprosto mimo me. ;-)

Este ma napadla taka blbost.
MOD import je tam.Co tak MIDI import.Ako klasika MIDI piesne.
V podstate neviem najst MIDI-MOD konvertor ktory by znel normalne.A na nete je vgmusic()com viac ako 20 000 midi hudieb z hier... napr.Resp. urobi niekto pesnicku na PC v Cubase a moze ju importovat do RMTcka.

Dalo by sa mixovat 2xmono skladby do jednej.Myslim nieco ako DJ program na live hranie.Ale nepitaj sa ma ako by to fungovalo.
Napr. na PC je mixxx()org ale ja myslim na 800 2x mono song do sterea.Ako na zive hranie. (jooj uz vidim ten vyraz... je to len myslienka ;D)
Mno je cas dorobit stereo a plus nejake tunes... Forever sa blizi.
